Bisque Tile Carving

These are the result of a little experimentation. I hadn’t even heard of bisque tile, till I saw some pictures posted on one of the forums I read. I decided to try some for myself. I purchased some tiles from a local company who run classes and instructions for pottery making.

I carved the tiles using solid carbide ball cutters, and was impressed at just how easily it cut. I did a few tiles, as you can see.

I’m not sure if there is a real market for this type of carving, but it may be incorporated into another custom project.

If you have any questions about carving bisque tiles, send me an e-mail at john@jmurphycnc.ca, and I’ll try to answer them the best I can.
